My Story

Transforming Lives Through Empathic, Holistic, Trauma-Informed Methods

Before healing, I was living in fear and worry—fear kept me from moving forward, and worry prevented me from taking chances. I lived according to others’ expectations instead of my true purpose. I allowed my past to define me, all while being told I was “too sensitive.” Like so many others who are highly sensitive or empathic, and without ever learning how to self-regulate because of a lack of support from those around me, I turned to substances to numb what felt overwhelming.

Although I have been free from chemical use for years, I know the stigma that follows. Addiction often leads to isolation, judgment, and rejection—from family, friends, and even healthcare providers. But I am no longer ashamed. Instead, I see my journey as preparation: everything I endured allows me to guide others out of darkness and into their own light.

Research shows that up to 90% of people struggling with substance use disorder are highly sensitive or empathic. There is evidence showing that if we can heal the underlying depression, anxiety, or whatever the underlying disorder is, we can heal, grow, and recover. This sensitivity—when unmanaged—can feel unbearable. Substances temporarily provide relief and a sense of belonging. But once individuals learn how to manage their empathic traits and heal underlying trauma, they can thrive without relying on substances. They can feel peace and happiness without substances.

That is why I launched holistic healing programs designed specifically for trauma, addiction, and emotional sensitivity. These programs address the whole person—mind, body, and spirit—through trauma healing, Reiki, root cause therapy, float tank sessions, art therapy, nutrition consultations, yoga, mindfulness and meditation training, and more. Each person receives tools to build resilience, restore hope, and step into the best version of themselves—whatever they choose that to be.

Commitment to Accessibility
Healing should not be reserved for those with financial means. Scholarships for sessions and programs are available for individuals who cannot afford treatment. My goal is to remove barriers to recovery, ensuring that no one is left behind due to financial hardship.

My Credentials & Approach
I am a certified professional coach registered with the Board of Professional Recovery Coaches, Reiki master and trainer, spiritual advisor and teacher, and trained trauma-healing professional with specialized study in addiction counseling and DBT. I also practice Root Cause Therapy, a powerful, non-invasive method that addresses the underlying beliefs and traumas driving harmful behaviors. Unlike traditional approaches that often focus only on symptoms, root cause therapy works at both the conscious and unconscious levels, providing deep, long-lasting transformation.
While many traditional rehabs report a success rate of only 5–15%, root cause therapy has shown success rates as high as 60–90%. By combining this evidence-backed approach with holistic healing, my practice offers individuals real, sustainable opportunities to break free from cycles of addiction, self-doubt, and trauma.

Our Vision
With grant funding, we will expand access to trauma-informed, holistic recovery services—particularly for those who are stigmatized, isolated, or unable to afford care. By addressing the root causes of addiction and teaching individuals how to embrace their sensitivity as a strength rather than a burden, we can transform lives and communities in a safe and welcoming space.
This is more than recovery—it is empowerment, resilience, and the chance to live a life defined by purpose, not by pain.
Together, we can light the path to healing.

A Deeper Look At Root Cause Therapy...

Root Cause therapy is one of the main modalities used at our center. Root-Cause Therapy is a powerful style of therapy that assists people in getting to the root cause of their current presenting symptoms. We know that medication is at times necessary, but it only treats the symptoms. We need to get to the root cause and heal it

Do you experience negative self-talk, unhelpful habits and behaviors, or perhaps PTSD and procrastination from low self-belief because of painful events in the past or anxiety about the future?
It’s time to not only talk about the issues, but to start to heal them on a deeper level, where real long-term change is possible.

The power of this method lies in the way that it works on all levels of our mind. The conscious mind, so you're reading this now, and the unconscious mind, where our automatic learned behaviors and bottled-up emotions reside.

Unlike hypnosis, which can create a fear of lack of control and unlike talk therapy which can leave you feeling worse with a long-time frame to create change in behaviors and thoughts - this type of healing creates a space for you to unravel why you do, think or feel the way you do - and discover and shift any unwanted patterns consciously, with you in the driving seat along with the knowledge and guidance of your therapist.
Not only are we working on the root cause of issues, but in each session, we use what is called a ‘Testing Sheet’. This allows us to closely monitor subtle shifts and changes - to give you tangible data, and your qualified therapist pinpoints priorities in each session based on your goals.

Root-cause Therapy focuses on finding and healing the cause of people's current symptoms. It uses guided imagery, breathwork, and reconnecting to the true self through structured and professional sessions.
Having tried many other methods, they have yet to find a therapy that surpasses the complete healing that occurs in relation to painful experiences and traumas that can ongoingly affect people's lives. We find that after treatment, people stop using drugs or medications naturally because they no longer feel they need them. They are naturally happier because the root of their limiting beliefs is healed!
